30g porridge oats
1 small grated carrot
200ml of milk or plant milk
A pinch of allspice
1/2tsp of vanilla extract
1tbsp of chopped walnuts
1 tbsp of raisins
1 tsp of maca powder
Add all the ingredients to a saucepan and heat for 5 minutes or so on a medium heat. You can add more milk if you like a runnier consistency.

This recipe is full of great nutrients and is really filling. Not only that the Maca powder adds a whole host of added extra’s. Maca is very nutrient dense, with protein, fibre, magnesium, high calcium levels and it is considered an adaptogen. Maca benefits can include increased fertility in men and women, hormone balance, PMS relief, improved mood plus an all important boost of memory and energy!
Most importantly it takes delicious.
